Life brings its share of challenges and painful moments. While we can’t avoid them, we do have a choice in how we respond. We can let these experiences close us off, making it harder to trust, connect, or heal—or we can use them as opportunities to grow, build resilience, and deepen our relationships.
At New Heart Therapy, we take a holistic approach to support your emotional, social, physical, and psychological well-being. In a nurturing and compassionate space, we help you heal and grow using evidence-based therapies, open communication, and collaborative goal-setting. Whether you’re looking to strengthen family bonds, build resilience, or find more balance in your life, we honor your unique journey and work with you to create lasting change.
Meet Andrea
As humans, we’re wired for connection and have a deep need to feel seen, valued, and like we belong. I believe every person deserves unconditional acceptance, no matter their circumstances or struggles, and I approach therapy with that in mind.
My practice is holistic, focusing on the connection between physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being to foster lasting healing. Depending on your needs, I may use a variety of techniques, including play, sand tray work, creative arts, music, mindfulness, somatic practices, strengths-based therapy, and cognitive-behavioral techniques.
Helping others has been my calling since I was young. Over the years, I’ve worked as a school psychologist, counselor, and mental health support specialist, but becoming a parent has taught me lessons no formal education ever could. I understand the joys and challenges of life firsthand and feel deeply passionate about guiding children, teens, and adults toward renewed peace and joy.
I’m grateful to live in Bellingham with my husband and two school-aged children. When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking, gardening, traveling, and exploring our beautiful community.
Thank you for being here. I’d be honored to hear your story and support you on your journey. Contact me today for a free 15-minute phone consultation—I’d love to connect.
